Designing the Branding & Visual information

for Benton’s 2025 - 2026 Art Exhibitions

The Benton Museum is the University of Connecticut’s fine arts museum, with a permanent collection of over 6,500 works of art. It also hosts special exhibitions, concerts, campus art walks, and other public events. As Graphic Designer, here is my process and final iterations of my contributions to the Benton.

A collage of multiple art exhibit banners with various designs, including titles like 'Clouds,' 'Fate & Magic,' and 'Exploring America at 250,' each with specific dates and collaborative details, set against a black background with white text indicating 'Banner Drafts.'
A black sandwich board sign with the wording 'Experience' in large font and additional smaller text below, placed on a white chair in an indoor setting with cluttered tables and chairs in the background.
Promotional graphic for art exhibition titled 'Clouds: A Collaboration with Fluid Dynamics' with the subtitle 'Fate & Magic: The Art of Maureen McCabe,' indicating dates August 26 to December 14, 2025. The banner features various artistic images, including a surreal collage with a woman in vintage attire, cloud backgrounds, and other abstract artwork.
A digital image of magazine covers titled "Sandwich Board Iteration" with a black background. The covers feature various images and titles, including "Exploring America at 250," "Fate & Magic: The Art of Maureen McCabe," "Clouds," "Big Shot," and a blue sky with scattered clouds. The image is tilted and displayed on a textured, rust-colored surface.
A white metal sandwich board on a sidewalk, displaying a poster for an art experience event titled 'Experience Art' which is free. The poster features colorful images of artwork and a sky with clouds. The sidewalk has some small plants growing at its edge. The photo is labeled 'Draft 3' in the bottom right corner.
